PLAYER WAIVER, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

Please read this careful and make sure you agree to the terms before purchasing a ticket.

Version: 1.0
Effective from: 17/09/2026

This Player Waiver, Assumption of Risk & Participation Agreement applies to participation in airsoft games, skirmishes, Battlesim events and other airsoft activities operated at Tactical Delta.

Please read this document carefully before booking or participating.

By accepting this agreement during booking, you confirm that you have read and understood its contents and agree to comply with Tactical Delta's site rules, safety requirements, event-specific rules and reasonable instructions from staff and marshals.

1. NATURE OF THE ACTIVITY

Airsoft is a physical outdoor activity involving the use of airsoft replica firearms which discharge plastic projectiles at velocity.

Participation may involve:

  • Being struck by airsoft BBs.

  • Running, walking, crouching, crawling and other physical movement.

  • Moving through woodland, quarry terrain, tracks, uneven ground and other outdoor environments.

  • Entering or moving around permitted structures, defensive positions and constructed game areas.

  • Exposure to mud, dust, vegetation, branches, loose ground, slopes and natural obstacles.

  • Close interaction with other players.

  • Use of airsoft replicas, pyrotechnics and other game equipment.

  • Loud noises.

  • Reduced visibility.

  • Changing weather and ground conditions.

  • Physically demanding gameplay.

  • Gameplay involving vehicles where specifically permitted.

  • Gameplay during periods of reduced light or darkness at relevant events.

Tactical Delta takes reasonable steps to manage foreseeable risks, but the nature of airsoft and outdoor activities means that all risk cannot be completely eliminated.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF INHERENT RISK

I understand and voluntarily accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with participating in airsoft.

These may include:

  • Bruising, welts and minor bleeding caused by BB impacts.

  • Slips, trips and falls.

  • Cuts, scratches and abrasions.

  • Sprains and strains.

  • Collisions with other players, terrain or obstacles.

  • Injury caused by branches, vegetation or uneven ground.

  • Temporary hearing discomfort associated with pyrotechnics or other loud noises.

  • Damage to clothing or personal equipment.

  • Accidental impacts occurring during active gameplay.

  • Physical fatigue and exertion.

I understand that more serious injury is possible even where reasonable safety precautions are taken.

My acceptance of the ordinary and inherent risks of airsoft does not affect any legal rights or liabilities which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

3. PERSONAL HEALTH & FITNESS

I am responsible for considering whether I am physically capable of safely participating in the activities I choose to undertake.

I must consider whether any medical condition, injury, disability, medication or other circumstance may affect my ability to participate safely.

If I have a condition which Tactical Delta staff should reasonably be aware of for my safety, I will inform an appropriate member of staff before participating.

I will not participate while:

  • Under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.

  • Impaired by medication to an extent that makes participation unsafe.

  • Suffering from an injury or condition which makes continued participation unsafe.

  • Otherwise unable to understand or follow safety instructions appropriately.

I am responsible for monitoring my own condition throughout the event.

If I become injured, unwell, excessively fatigued or otherwise unable to continue safely, I will stop participating and inform a marshal or member of staff.

4. EYE, FACE & PERSONAL PROTECTION

Appropriate eye protection is mandatory in all designated live-fire areas.

I agree:

  • Not to remove my eye protection while inside a live game area.

  • To use eye protection suitable for airsoft and compliant with Tactical Delta requirements.

  • To immediately stop playing and notify a marshal if my eye protection becomes damaged, displaced or unusable.

  • To follow any additional protective-equipment requirements applicable to my age, equipment or event.

Full-face protection may be mandatory for certain participants, including rental players or younger players where required by Tactical Delta policy.

Additional protective equipment such as lower-face protection, gloves, helmets, knee pads and suitable footwear may be strongly recommended even where it is not mandatory.

I understand that I remain responsible for choosing appropriate clothing and protective equipment for the activity and conditions.

5. AIRSOFT REPLICAS & CHRONOGRAPH TESTING

All airsoft replicas used at Tactical Delta must comply with the chrono and energy limits applicable to the event.

I agree to:

  • Present any airsoft replica for chronograph testing when required.

  • Accurately declare the BB weight being used where requested.

  • Use equipment within the limits applicable to its weapon class.

  • Not deliberately alter or adjust a replica after chrono in order to increase its muzzle energy beyond the permitted limit.

  • Comply with any firing-mode restrictions.

  • Comply with any applicable minimum engagement distances.

  • Stop using any replica immediately if instructed to do so by a marshal.

Tactical Delta may refuse the use of any replica or equipment which staff reasonably consider unsafe, unsuitable or non-compliant.

Standard skirmish days and Battlesim events may operate different chrono limits and weapon-class rules.

Players are responsible for checking the published requirements for the event they are attending.

6. GAME & SITE RULES

I agree to comply with Tactical Delta's published site rules, safety briefing and any rules specific to the event or game being played.

These may include rules relating to:

  • Hit taking.

  • Respawns.

  • Medic systems.

  • Team identification.

  • Firing modes.

  • Weapon classes.

  • Engagement distances.

  • Pyrotechnics.

  • Grenades and other game devices.

  • Vehicles.

  • Restricted and out-of-bounds areas.

  • Ghillie suits and concealment.

  • Specialist roles.

  • Game-specific equipment.

  • Communications.

  • Night play.

  • Conduct toward other players.

  • Wildlife and livestock.

  • Structures and terrain.

  • Cease-fire procedures.

Game modes and Battlesim events may introduce additional or modified rules.

These will be published, briefed or otherwise communicated to players before they become applicable.

I am responsible for familiarising myself with the rules applicable to the event I attend.

7. MARSHALS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Tactical Delta marshals and site staff are responsible for managing gameplay and maintaining safety.

I agree to follow reasonable instructions given by marshals and staff.

Marshal decisions relating to immediate gameplay and safety are final while the game or event is in progress.

If a CEASE FIRE is called, I will:

  1. Stop firing immediately.

  2. Repeat the cease-fire call where appropriate so other players hear it.

  3. Make my airsoft replica safe.

  4. Stop active gameplay.

  5. Follow marshal instructions.

  6. Wait until staff clearly authorise play to resume.

Deliberately ignoring a cease fire or other significant safety instruction may result in immediate removal from the game or site.

8. PYROTECHNICS

Where pyrotechnics are permitted, only devices approved for use at Tactical Delta may be used.

I agree to follow site rules, event rules, marshal instructions and the manufacturer's instructions when using pyrotechnics.

I understand that pyrotechnics may produce:

  • Loud noise.

  • Flashes.

  • Smoke.

  • Heat.

  • Debris.

I will not deliberately throw, place or use pyrotechnics in a prohibited or unsafe manner.

Tactical Delta may restrict or prohibit the use of pyrotechnics because of weather, environmental conditions, fire risk, landowner requirements, event conditions or other safety considerations.

9. VEHICLES

Some Tactical Delta events may involve vehicles as part of gameplay.

Where vehicles are used, I agree to:

  • Follow marshal and driver instructions.

  • Remain clear of moving vehicles unless instructed otherwise.

  • Never deliberately place myself in the path of a moving vehicle.

  • Only board or leave vehicles where permitted.

  • Remain appropriately seated or positioned when travelling.

  • Use any safety equipment or restraints provided.

  • Follow event-specific vehicle rules.

Gameplay rules relating to whether vehicles or their occupants are considered destroyed, eliminated or otherwise affected by game actions do not override real-world vehicle safety.

10. TERRAIN & ENVIRONMENT

Tactical Delta is an outdoor venue containing natural and man-made terrain.

Conditions may include:

  • Woodland.

  • Quarry ground.

  • Tracks.

  • Mud.

  • Loose stone.

  • Slopes.

  • Holes and depressions.

  • Exposed roots.

  • Branches.

  • Standing water.

  • Vegetation.

  • Uneven ground.

  • Changing weather conditions.

  • Reduced visibility.

I understand that outdoor terrain can change because of weather, use and natural processes.

I agree to exercise reasonable care when moving around the site and to wear footwear and clothing suitable for the conditions.

I will not enter areas identified as restricted or out of bounds.

I will not climb trees, unsafe structures, fences or other objects unless an area or structure has specifically been designated as suitable for player use.

11. WILDLIFE, LIVESTOCK & THE ENVIRONMENT

I will not intentionally shoot at, chase, harass or otherwise interfere with wildlife or livestock.

If animals enter or affect a live game area, I will follow marshal instructions.

I agree to respect the land and will not deliberately damage vegetation, fences, structures, equipment or other site property.

I will dispose of rubbish responsibly and leave staging, camping and game areas in a reasonable condition.

12. CAMPING & OVERNIGHT ATTENDANCE

Where overnight camping is available as part of an event, I agree to follow any camping rules and instructions issued by Tactical Delta.

I understand that camping may be restricted to designated areas and that access to live game areas outside authorised periods may be prohibited.

I agree to:

  • Keep camping areas reasonably clean.

  • Dispose of rubbish appropriately.

  • Respect other players and neighbouring properties.

  • Follow any restrictions relating to fires, cooking equipment, generators, lighting or noise.

  • Follow staff instructions regarding vehicle movement and parking.

  • Comply with any event-specific overnight safety requirements.

Availability of camping may vary between events and must be confirmed in advance where required.

13. PERSONAL PROPERTY

I remain responsible for my own airsoft equipment, clothing, vehicles and personal belongings while attending Tactical Delta.

Airsoft equipment and clothing may be damaged during ordinary gameplay.

Subject to applicable law, Tactical Delta is not responsible for loss, theft or accidental damage arising solely from the ordinary risks of participation or from a participant's own actions.

I am encouraged not to leave valuable equipment or personal belongings unattended unnecessarily.

14. RENTAL EQUIPMENT

Where Tactical Delta provides rental equipment, I agree:

  • To use the equipment only as instructed.

  • Not to deliberately misuse, modify or damage it.

  • To report faults or damage as soon as reasonably possible.

  • To return the equipment at the end of the booking.

Subject to applicable law, I may be responsible for the reasonable cost of loss or damage resulting from deliberate misuse, reckless conduct or failure to return rental equipment.

Normal wear and tear resulting from proper use is excluded.

15. PLAYER CONDUCT

Airsoft relies heavily on honesty, sportsmanship and respect between players.

I agree to behave responsibly toward other players, staff, visitors and members of the public.

Behaviour which may result in removal from a game, event or the site includes:

  • Deliberate cheating.

  • Repeated or deliberate failure to take hits.

  • Dangerous use of airsoft replicas.

  • Fighting or deliberate physical violence.

  • Threats or intimidation.

  • Harassment.

  • Abusive or discriminatory behaviour.

  • Deliberate damage to property.

  • Reckless behaviour.

  • Deliberately ignoring safety instructions.

  • Participating while intoxicated or otherwise unfit to play safely.

Tactical Delta may stop a participant from playing where staff reasonably believe that person's behaviour presents a safety risk or seriously disrupts the event.

Where appropriate, serious or repeated misconduct may result in the participant being required to leave the site.

16. FIRST AID & EMERGENCIES

If I am injured or become unwell, I will inform Tactical Delta staff as soon as reasonably possible.

I consent to appropriately trained staff providing reasonable first aid where required.

Where staff reasonably believe emergency medical assistance is required, they may contact the emergency services and provide relevant information necessary to assist them.

Nothing in this agreement requires me to accept medical treatment where I am legally capable of refusing it.

I understand that participation may need to stop following an injury even if I personally wish to continue, where staff reasonably believe continued participation would be unsafe.

17. UNDER-18 PARTICIPANTS

Where Tactical Delta permits an under-18 player to participate, that player must comply with Tactical Delta's minimum age requirements and any additional rules relating to supervision or protective equipment.

Where parental or legal guardian consent is required, valid consent must be provided through Tactical Delta's approved booking, waiver or check-in process before the young person participates.

The parent or guardian providing consent should read this agreement and understand the nature and ordinary inherent risks of airsoft before giving that consent.

Nothing in this section overrides any event-specific age restriction.

Certain Tactical Delta events may be restricted to participants aged 18 or over.

18. LIABILITY

Nothing in this agreement excludes, restricts or attempts to exclude any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

In particular, nothing in this agreement excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in this agreement removes Tactical Delta's responsibility to take reasonable steps for the safety of lawful visitors and participants.

Subject to applicable law, I accept responsibility for the ordinary and inherent risks of airsoft described in this agreement and for consequences resulting solely from:

  • My deliberate or reckless conduct.

  • My failure to follow reasonable safety instructions.

  • My deliberate breach of site or event rules.

  • My misuse of equipment.

  • My deliberate entry into restricted areas.

  • Other ordinary and inherent risks of the activity which have not resulted from negligence by Tactical Delta.

This agreement is intended to ensure that participants understand the nature of the activity and the responsibilities involved in participating safely. It is not intended to remove legal rights or responsibilities which cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

Tactical Delta may photograph or film its events for purposes including event coverage, website content and social media.

Consent to the use of a participant's identifiable image for promotional or marketing purposes is separate from acceptance of this participation agreement where separate consent is required.

Players who do not wish to appear in promotional material should follow the process communicated by Tactical Delta or inform staff so reasonable steps can be taken to identify and accommodate their preference.

Incidental appearance in general crowd or event imagery may not always be avoidable.

20. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Information collected through the booking and waiver process may be used for purposes including:

  • Confirming that this agreement has been accepted.

  • Administering bookings and events.

  • Player safety.

  • Emergency contact.

  • Incident investigation.

  • Insurance administration.

  • Responding to legal or regulatory requirements.

Information will be handled in accordance with Tactical Delta's privacy policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

Participants should refer to the Tactical Delta Privacy Policy for further information regarding how personal information is collected, used and retained.

21. EVENT-SPECIFIC RULES

I understand that this agreement does not replace the rules and briefing issued for an individual event.

Battlesim events in particular may introduce additional requirements relating to matters including:

  • Chrono limits.

  • Weapon classes.

  • Minimum engagement distances.

  • Ghillie suits.

  • Medic systems.

  • Respawns.

  • Vehicles.

  • Pyrotechnics.

  • Night gameplay.

  • Communications.

  • Specialist roles.

  • Objectives and scenario mechanics.

Event-specific requirements will be published or communicated ahead of the event wherever reasonably practicable.

Where an event-specific gameplay rule differs from a standard Tactical Delta gameplay rule, the event-specific rule will apply for that event.

Safety instructions issued by Tactical Delta staff always take precedence over gameplay rules.

22. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE

By selecting the required waiver acknowledgement during the booking process, I confirm that:

  • I have been given the opportunity to read this agreement before booking.

  • I have read and understood this agreement.

  • I understand the nature of airsoft and the ordinary inherent risks involved.

  • I agree to follow Tactical Delta's site rules, event rules and safety requirements.

  • I agree to follow reasonable instructions given by marshals and site staff.

  • The information I have provided through the booking form is accurate to the best of my knowledge.

  • I voluntarily choose to participate.

My acceptance of this agreement will be recorded alongside the information submitted through the booking process.

Where one person purchases tickets on behalf of other adult participants, each participant may be required to separately accept this agreement before taking part.

A person purchasing a ticket for another adult should not assume that their acceptance of this agreement constitutes acceptance on that person's behalf.

23. SEVERABILITY

If any part of this agreement is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed only to the extent necessary.

The remainder of the agreement will continue to apply where legally possible.

24. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Before completing an online booking, participants will be required to confirm:

“I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to the Tactical Delta Player Waiver, Assumption of Risk & Participation Agreement and applicable site and event rules.”

Acceptance will be recorded through the booking process.
