Legal Obligations
We may process or retain personal information where necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

Accounting and financial records.
Tax requirements.
Responding to lawful requests from authorities.
Meeting applicable health and safety or other legal requirements.

Vital Interests & Emergencies
In an emergency, we may use or share personal information where this is necessary to protect the life or physical safety of a participant or another person.
For example, this may include providing relevant information to ambulance crews or other emergency services where appropriate.
Special Category Information
Information relating to a person's health is treated as particularly sensitive under UK data-protection law.
Tactical Delta does not routinely ask participants to provide detailed medical information through the online booking or Player Waiver forms.
However, a participant may choose to tell an appropriate member of staff about a medical condition, injury, medication or other circumstance relevant to their safe participation.
Where information of this kind constitutes special category personal data, we will only process it where both an appropriate lawful basis and an additional condition permitted under data-protection law apply.
We will only use such information where reasonably necessary for purposes such as participant safety, first aid, emergency response, incident management or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Consent
Where we specifically rely on your consent, we will make this clear at the time the information is collected.
Where consent is the lawful basis, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing which took place before consent was withdrawn.
Player Waiver information and emergency contact details are not collected for marketing purposes.
5. WHO WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH

Where reasonably necessary, information relating to an incident, claim, dispute or legal matter may be provided to our insurers, insurance intermediaries, legal advisers, accountants or other appropriate professional advisers.
Public Authorities
We may disclose personal information where required by law, court order or another lawful request from a police force, regulator, government body or other competent authority.

We do not use emergency-contact information for marketing and do not routinely share it with third parties.

Different types of information may therefore be retained for different periods.

Booking, transaction and financial records may be retained for the period required by applicable accounting, tax and legal requirements.
Where records are required for those purposes, they will not be deleted simply because the event has ended.

Player Waiver records may be retained after an event so that Tactical Delta can demonstrate that the participant accepted the applicable waiver, site rules and participation conditions.
We will retain waiver information only for as long as reasonably necessary for safety, insurance, legal and record-keeping purposes.
Records relating to under-18 participants may need to be retained for longer because different legal time limits can apply.

They are not retained for marketing purposes.
Enquiries & General Communications
Information submitted through general enquiries or correspondence will normally be retained only for as long as necessary to deal with the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up.
Where an enquiry leads to a booking, complaint, dispute, incident or other matter requiring a longer record, relevant information may be retained for an appropriate longer period.
